Professional Experience

Andrea Pearce has spent her career advocating for the rights of workers throughout California. Her tenacity and aggressive advocacy have consistently resulted in substantial six and seven-figure recoveries for clients against large corporate defendants and employers. She brings extensive experience as a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) litigator in all areas of employment and labor law, including wrongful termination, FEHA discrimination, harassment and retaliation, Labor Code retaliation claims, wage and hour violations, PAGA and Equal Pay Act violations. She litigates employment matters in various forums, including California Superior Courts, federal court, and arbitration.

Andrea clerked for the Honorable Monica Wiley and the Honorable Gail Dekreon in San Francisco Superior Court, an experience that provided invaluable insight into the judicial mindset. She was awarded the Ralph Abascal Memorial Fellowship, through which she focused on workplace sexual harassment, wage and hour violations, employment discrimination, and wrongful termination.

Andrea brings a relentless work ethic and sophisticated litigation skills to every matter, leveraging her extensive employment law experience to achieve significant results for employees who have been wronged in the workplace. She is committed to building strong, trust-based relationships with her clients and serves as a fearless advocate in their pursuit of justice.

Education

Andrea earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she was recognized at the UCLA Commencement Ceremony as a John Wooden Leader of Student Activism for her work with the City of Los Angeles Office of Disability. She earned her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), where she served as a Staff Editor of the Hastings Business Law Journal and presented her thesis on income inequality in California to the California Senate Office of Research.

Personal and Community

Andrea is a Board Member of Rowell Family Empowerment of Northern California, a non-profit that provides direct services and advocacy to families of children with special needs. As an avid musician and vocalist, she has performed Mariachi music throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. At home, she enjoys spending time outdoors in our beautiful state with her wonderful husband and daughter.
